This Kayaker Encountered a Whale That Waved Back, But That’s Not Even the Best Part of This Video
So, you’re out kayaking, minding your own business, having a great time. And then suddenly, out of the water come not one, but two whales!
That’s exactly what happened to these kayakers in this video. But the awesomeness didn’t stop there. Seeing a couple of whales in the water is a rare enough sight. But one whale decided to go further. In the video you can see the whale sticking his fins in the air, as if he is waving hello. Slowly he slides underneath the kayak and then to everyone’s amazement the whale lifts the kayak out of the water. Holding it on his back for just a moment, he then lets the kayak back down in the water to continue on its way.
This was a wild whale! Was the whale showing off? Was it a greeting? One thing is for sure, thatwhale gave the kayakers that day a memory they will cherish forever. But its a moment that might never happen again if we do not preserve our oceans. Let’s all help care for our oceans and our planet so that we can all have an encounter like this one day. :)
